Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Instruments are provided or you can bring your own. (Teachers will tune instruments and may be able to do minor repairs.)

  • Ages 8 and up. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Lessons last about 30 minutes. Most lessons are individual, but some may be small group.

  • You may take lessons on more than one instrument.  (This is a great way for young people to figure out what instrument suits them. We recommend that they eventually settle on one or two instruments in the same family.  If piano isn't their primary choice, learning it too is an excellent way to better understand music.)

  • You do not need to register in advance. Just drop in any time we are open and sign in. On your first visit, we will ask you to fill out a registration form.

  • Lessons are free,  but we welcome donations in the bucket at the registration table.
