Metropolitan Youth Orchestras of Central Alabama

Spring 2025 Lessons

For spring we are offering our typical semester of 12 lessons/rehearsals on either Monday evenings or Saturdays. Orientation for new students is Saturday, January 18.
Classes will start Saturday, January 25.
Here's a link to our teaching dates.

We are starting this semester later than usual due to interior renovations to St. Paul UMC.  The sanctuary should be usable by or soon after our January 25 start. While any remaining work will take place on weekdays and should minimally impact our teaching spaces, please be prepared for some last minute room changes this spring.

We're celebrating our 18th year of music ensembles and instruction! We continue to serve every interested child, age 6 to 18, including those with disabilities.

If you believe, as we do, that learning to play an instrument can positively impact a child, please consider supporting Scrollworks with a monetary donation.

Thank you!!

As our student enrollment grew, so did our vision. After learning their basics on an instrument, many Scrollworks students join our ensembles.

We offer several performing ensembles for both new and returning students. Certain prerequisite skills must be demonstrated and a placement audition may be required.
