Spring 2012 Academy Lessons

Registration is officially closed. The first day of Academy lessons is January 19. The first day of classes and orchestra rehearsals is January 21.

Scrollworks Academy offers private lessons on Saturdays as follows:

Piano

Guitar

Drum Set

Violin, Viola

There is no registration fee for Academy lessons. These lessons have a per lesson fee that ranges from $5 to $25 on a sliding scale based on income and family size. 

**Policy change: Academy students will be expected to pay for 12 lessons without regard to absences. This is a courtesy to our teachers and a budgeting necessity. The payment for the first 4 lessons is required to reserve your time slot. The remainder of the tuition is due by the first lesson.  If you need to make other arrangements for payment, please contact Caroline Nordlund.

Current Academy students: Your fee for each lesson will stay the same for Spring 2012. You will need to pay for the first 4 weeks to hold your lesson time.

New Academy students: To receive a reduced rate, parents must provide financial information annually for the sliding scale calculation. (This information will be kept strictly confidential.) We will email you the fee determined by the sliding scale. If you accept, your child will be assigned a lesson time. Payment for the first four lessons is due within two weeks of receiving a time. Otherwise, the time will be released to someone else. 

-Please note that Academy violin, viola and cello students are required to participate in ensembles on Saturday.

-A parent is required to be in the room during the private lessons. If the parent cannot attend, please notify Scrollworks staff immediately. If another adult is not available, the lesson will not take place.

All registrations for the Spring 2012 term will be done online. Just open the form, fill it in, and click submit. You may save the completed form on your computer.
