Our Mission: The Metropolitan Youth Orchestras of Central Alabama is dedicated to making music instruction and ensemble playing available to all, thereby developing character and sense of community.
We teach orchestral instruments, piano, and guitar to ages 8 to 18, including children with disabilities. Participating students may borrow instruments that they can also use in their school's music program.

We're celebrating our 19th year of music ensembles and instruction! We continue to serve every interested child, age 8 to 18, including those with disabilities.

We offer several performing ensembles for both new and returning students. Certain prerequisite skills must be demonstrated and a placement audition may be required.
